Evelyn R. Laurito

Dr. Evelyn Reyes Laurito is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at UST for more than 40 years now. She Graduated from the University of Santo Tomas, Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, 1976; University of the Philippines Diliman, Masters in Environmental Engineering, 1982 and PhD in Environmental Science, 2005

Her Special Studies include a Certificate on New Learning Technology at University of Furtwanger, Berlin Germany, 2008; Post Masteral studies on Chemical Engineering, Ohio State University 1995.

She is presently the National Secretary of the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers and a Member of the College of Fellows, PIChE

She authored a book entitled: Author: Stoichiometry of Fuel Combustion and Related Process Industries

She took training on Persistent Organic Pollutants in Vienna Austria ( 2012); Sao Paulo Brazil (2013), and Ozone Depleting Substances in Tokyo Japan in 1991

She is a Trainor on: Green Boiler Technology (UNIDO) in Bangkok, Jakarta, Phnom Penh; POPs Inventory/Best Available Technology and Best Environmental Practice in Manila, Jakarta, Vientienne, Yerevan in Armenia

She is an eTutor on elearning Development and Implementation Asia & Africa through GIZ  Germany;    e-course on Globalization, Environment Module with ICUSTA (International Council of Universities of St Thomas Aquinas) and e-course on Solid Waste Management for Local Government Units, DENR and UPOU

Her Areas of Research include Solid Waste Management  andCarbon Capture to reduce the impacts of Climate Change
