Rex R. Lor

Rex R. Lor is a PhD Educational Management student who specializes in innovation development & management and startup incubation at the Hub of Innovation for Inclusion (HIFI), a social innovation startup incubator at the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. He has more than 15 years of management experience in the business and academe, focusing on educational management, strategic innovation planning, program development, training and curriculum development. He designs innovation programs, mentors innovators and startups and facilitates seminars and workshops on design thinking, social business model generation, educational technology, strategic planning and program development with various startups, companies, schools, colleges and universities. Rex is a certified practitioner in Digital Transformation (University of Virginia and Boston Consulting Group), Design Thinking & Lean Startup (Tandemic SG) and Knowledge Management (CCLFI). Rex also won twice for his academic paper Design Thinking in Education: A Critical Review of Literature: the first being the Master Piece Award during the Asian Conference in Education & Psychology (ACEP) in Bangkok, Thailand on May 2017 and in July 2018, an Outstanding Paper Award during the International Postgraduate Roundtable & Research Forum at the Education University in Hong Kong. Rex has been invited twice to the AFRILABS Annual Gathering in Cairo, Egypt and Accra, Ghana to participate in a panel discussion about tech hubs and innovation management.
